What does that mean?
During embossing, various desired properties of the material are created, including an optical change, enlargement of the surface and better drawability. Due to the deformation, the inherent rigidity of the material is increased so that further processing steps can be effectively realised. This is often referred to as embossed aluminium foil or embossed metal foil.
